Diamond Casino at the Ramada Inn 4j534h
Reno, Nevada s itself as ‘the biggest little city in the world.” These days, the Reno-Sparks metropolitan area is not so little. Some 600,000 permanent residents call the area home. As Reno is also a pretty major tourist destination, and is located not too far from other major resort and tourist properties, the many gambling venues within the city limits get a lot of business. Diamond Casino at the Ramada Inn is not one of the flagship properties that Reno is known for. In fact, it’s kind of a locals’ hangout. c403a
Its location on East 6th Street puts it kind of close to the most action in the area, just a few blocks away from Reno’s own version of the Vegas Strip. But the fact that the property is a little dated and the gaming floor relatively small and cluttered means it isn’t a first-tier location for visiting gamblers. The low prices and lack of tourists make it a favorite of locals, especially the bar and restaurant areas frequented by gambling industry employees, particularly on weekends.

The casino (and almost all of the other amenities at Diamond Casino at Ramada Inn) are available 24-hours. The game variety is also decent, even if some of the titles tend to be a little older than the latest and greatest games up the street a couple of blocks. The gaming floor is about half the size of the bigger newer properties in Reno, but offers a mix of table games, slots, video poker, and even live poker.

Diamond’s Diner is also open 24 hours, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner depending on the time of day. The menu offers a mix of burgers, hot and cold sandwiches, pizzas, and entrees like chicken fried steak, so it’s kind of a modern American deli mixed with a pizzeria.
