Betsoft Gaming have been in existence since 1999 and have developed since then into one of the most innovative, quality-driven casino software providers out there. Famous for their Slots3 games which, in their words, are a “series of true cinematic 3D video slots”, there is no doubting the standout quality that is evident in the best of their slots (more of which later). 6s6963

With around 150 games at the time of writing, casinos rarely opt to utilise Betsoft games alone, but rather they include them as significant complements to those offered by other providers. With the advent in 2012 of Betsoft “To Go” – a range of mobile- and tablet-friendly games – they are continuing to develop, improve and innovate. Based in England and licensed by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC), they take player fairness very seriously indeed and their software has received an Official Certification of Evaluation from Technical Testing System (TST), making us very confident everything is as it should be. Available to play instantly in desktop and mobile browsers or to , Betsoft’s games are well worth checking out.

As mentioned, Betsoft are most renowned for their fantastic array of around 50 or so character-driven 3D slots, which are brought to life by the fantastic graphics and sound and the kind of little touches (a Goblin smoking a pipe or scratching his behind between spins on their Greedy Goblins game, for instance) which make them stand out from the crowd. But they also have a good range (23 at the last count) of standard (though still very well made) slots, over 20 table games, 28 video poker options and seven other games to ensure players at casinos using their software have a very good choice.

  • Slots - Not all slots were made equally, and those developed by Betsoft are some of the best that exist anywhere. With themes ranging from fairies and goblins to rock stars and Hell’s Angels, from Mexicans to Italians and cowboys to cavemen, each of the video slots has its own unique identity and characters. With a host of fascinating idiosyncrasies, many of the characters are endearing – such as the loveable characters in the Under The Sea game – and all are memorable and easy on the eye. With often subtle but interesting sounds and musical accompaniment, the 3D slots offer much more of a fulfilling gaming experience than do the slots offered by many other software providers. Our favourites are 2 Million B.C. and Good Girl, Bad Girl, but as you are able to try them out for free, you have every opportunity to make up your own mind before parting with any of your cash.
  • Blackjack - There are seven Betsoft blackjack variants: European, American, Single Deck, Super 7, 21 Burn, Pirate 21 and Pontoon. All look almost identical and all play very well, so it is just a matter of deciphering which games works best for you (hint: the single deck version gives you the best long-term chances of success!).
  • Roulette - There are five roulette variants, with Common Draw roulette and then two versions each of European and American roulette, each coming in a standard and VIP option. Again there is not much difference between them as they all look stunning and play with intuitive ease.
  • Video Poker - The 28 video poker games are split into three categories: single hand, multi-hand and pyramid. As these are based on the traditional video poker games they do not feature graphics that are quite as impressive, but they are perfectly fine and fans of this variety of game should fine them spot on.
  • Other Games - There are a number of other table games available including craps, baccarat, Pai Gow and Red Dog, while the Virtual Racebook is a fast and frenetic horse racing game that is very well designed. With four variants of keno and even a scratch card and a number predictor game, there is something for everyone at Betsoft. At present Betsoft don’t offer any live casino games, which really fall outside of their specialism as things stand. (Though perhaps they’ll develop some in the future with goblins or fairies as the dealers.)

Progressive Jackpots 1o531s

Betsoft have a handful of progressive jackpot games, most of which – such as their Progressive Diamond jackpot game – are standard slots, as opposed to the flashy 3D ones. There are a couple of the more fancy-dan slots – such as Mr Vegas – that offer progressive jackpots, but really this is an area that lags behind some of the bigger software providers as the jackpots rarely reach truly humongous amounts. Okay, thousands and tens of thousands ain’t bad, but millions are much, much better! On the flip side, Betsoft’s progressive jackpots are linked to just one game each, thus making them a lot simpler – and, in theory at least, easier to win. But the big downside is that the jackpots are more likely to buy you a car than a jet.

About Betsoft 27123p

As mentioned, Betsoft have been around since 1999, but for much of their early years they seem very much a sideline outfit who were focussing on the wrong product – that is, video slots. But as the technological advances began to catch up with Betsoft’s vision and determination, so their games started to catch the imagination of players and casino owners alike and now many of their games are becoming modern classics.

With excellent attention to detail and a very strong commitment to customer satisfaction and security – not to mention the fairness of their games – Betsoft are winning new fans every day and look like building on their very solid reputation. Though it is unlikely they will challenge the really big boys of the industry in of market share, we expect Betsoft’s fantastic games to pop up at more and more of the big brand casinos over the coming years, something we think would certainly be a positive thing for players and fans of fun, interesting games.
